It would be great to have more off-the-shelf tools for us freelancers to use to get more consistent work, and we hope we can assist in that effort. :)

During the term of this Operating Agreement, no Member may hire, contract, or otherwise engage, directly or indirectly, a current or former employee of ABC LLC to work in any business or activity in competition with the Business of ABC LLC. A member may hire a former employee of ABC LLC in any business, if such former employee has not been employed by ABC LLC for more than one year.

In the last sentence, does what is considered hiring? And what is not?

Would the member be allowed to contract with a former emloyee or accept probono work?

What are your thoughts on onlinejobs.ph?

I’ve learned the hard way that the best way to be responsible for something and to have a good sense of control over it is to be as knowledgeable as possible about it. Your site and your eBook (vol 1) appear to be loaded with sensible, practical info.

I realize with outsourcing, at least from the employer’s prospective, it still comes down to choosing someone who is trustworthy and competent. I’d even err some on ‘competent’ to have ‘fully trustworthy’ as you can always improve someone’s competence but a loss of trust…well, you know what I mean.
